The Rivera Residence reconstruction began after a vehicle struck the home, causing significant structural and interior damage. While the impact itself created extensive repairs, the property later suffered vandalism and theft while sitting vacant, resulting in additional damage to the home's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Zen Construction was brought in to help the family navigate the recovery process and work alongside the insurance carrier to restore the home. As demolition and reconstruction progressed, our team uncovered additional deficiencies and code-related issues that required coordination with the City of Phoenix and updates to the original permit scope.
The project now includes structural repairs, framing corrections, complete plumbing restoration, electrical system upgrades, HVAC reconstruction, exterior repairs, and full interior restoration. Throughout the process, we have maintained active site security, coordinated inspections and permitting, and managed multiple trades to keep the project moving forward.
More than a typical renovation, this project represents the recovery of a family's home after a series of unfortunate events. Our goal is not only to rebuild what was damaged, but to deliver a safe, code-compliant, and fully restored home that allows the Rivera family to return to their space with confidence.
Projected Completion Mid-July 2026.
